Aluminum Furnace Plant

HEAT TREATMENT PROCESS:
For T6 with water quenching, T7 with air quenching,T5 with artificial aging, homogenizing, annealing and stress relieving, removal of sand from castings.

FURNACE TYPES:

  2. Chain conveyor furnace.
  3. Basketless direct part loading furnace.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Optimum fuel efficiency by pre-heating of incoming ingots/return material by outgoing exhaust gas
  • Special high impact resistance bricks for longer life
  • Gas Heating with Long Luminous low temperature flame burners operating with low excess oxygen
  • Immersion type burners in holding chamber for indirect heating to reduce oxidation of aluminum
  • Ingot / return material charging top by elevator mechanism
  • Safety features like low/high molten metal level, excess temperature of molten metal and exhaust gas, flame failure, gas/air low pressure, etc.
  • Computerized process monitoring
  • Fuel consumption 7,00,000 kCal/T of Al. during melting
  • Standard capacities: 100 kg/hr to 1500 kg/hr

QUENCH SYSTEM:

  • Options available for water, polymer or air quench.
  • Optimum heating, cooling and re-circulating system.
  • Rapid transfer time from the furnace to fully submerged in the quenH chant.
  • Specially designed elevator without bearings for trouble free operations and least maintenance.
